Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma is ready to move on after his much-maligned stint with the Los Angeles Lakers. He will have the fresh start he badly needs with the Wizards, who have made sneaky-good moves in the offseason to form a solid roster.

Kuzma was bombarded by insults by angry Lakers fans because of his performance in the last two seasons, particularly in the last NBA Playoffs. He has said he's affected by the negative remarks, even temporarily shutting down his Twitter account two seasons ago.

But it appears the 26-year-old Kuzma has learned to tune out the noise from other people. He reposted on his Instagram Stories a quote about being more mature and not stooping down to the level of haters.

Kuzma is pretty active on social media so he most probably reads all the comments. In the age of social media, every blunder of every NBA player gets even more amplified, so it's extra difficult to stay level-headed and even-keeled. Kuzma has experienced it a lot, especially playing for a storied squad like the Lakers.

But with the Wizards, there will be less pressure for the one-time NBA champion. The young team underwent a total overhaul but got strong pieces to form a talented core, which includes Bradley Beal, Spencer Dinwiddie, Montrezl Harrell, Rui Hachimura, Thomas Bryant, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

Kyle Kuzma has said he's very much capable of being a 25-point scorer in the NBA. With a rebooted mindset, it won't be surprising if he registers a breakout campaign for the Wizards.
