The Washington Wizards acquired former second overall pick Jabari Parker from the Chicago Bulls last month, and they seem to be pretty impressed with his performance so far.

After expressing his frustrations during his stints with the Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks, Parker seems to be feeling good in the nation's capital. The Wizards have adjusted their offensive schemes a bit after acquiring Parker, opting to go fast-paced rather than settling for half-court sets.

Parker is responding well to the Wizards' style of play. Despite being listed at 6-foot-8 and almost 250 pounds, Parker is running the floor faster than anyone his size, at least according to head coach Scott Brooks.

“Jabari is as fast as anybody that I've seen at that position and that size. The strength that he has and the force that he plays with, there aren't many guys in the history of the game that have played that way. We're giving him opportunities to do that. If you get the rebound, you're the guy to push.”

Since joining the Wizards, Parker is averaging 13.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. The Wizards are utilizing him as a point forward because of his size and strength. He can battle it out with some of the bigs in the league, and when he gets the rebound, he has the approval of the coaching staff to push the ball and get Washington into tis offense.

Parker's stint with the Wizards looks promising after the disappointments in Milwaukee and Chicago. He better do his best to make it work this time around, and he's off to a good start.
