By the looks of it, Washington Wizards point guard John Wall is ready for the 2020-21 season to start today.

Wall, who was always going to miss the entire 2019-20 campaign recovering from his Achilles tear, looks incredibly healthy in his latest workout video.

The last time fans saw Wall on the court, he was averaging 20.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 8.7 assists in 2018-19. Unfortunately, the former No. 1 overall pick had a lot of bad luck that season, sustaining a heel injury that needed surgery and falling at his house and rupturing his Achilles tendon.

No one inside the Wizards organization had an issue with Wall sitting out the season. In fact, they preferred it from the beginning since Achilles' injuries are very difficult to recover from. Plus, it made no sense for the franchise to rush Wall back since the team wasn't going to contend for a championship in 2019-20.

Wall has career averages of 19.0 points and 9.2 assists in 573 games with the Washington franchise. With that said, fans can't wait for next season to start since the club will have Wall and Bradley Beal back in the lineup together. When healthy, the Wizards' star backcourt is one of the deadliest duos in the NBA.

John Wall signed a four-year, $170 million contract extension with the Wizards in the summer of 2017. There will be pressure on the All-Star guard to play like an elite player when he comes back since he's getting paid superstar money.
