By now, most football fans have caught a glimpse of the now-viral video featuring LSU head coach Brian Kelly and 3-star tight end prospect Danny Lewis awkwardly dancing together. The video surfaced in late January and has since made the rounds, mostly due to the incredibly cringe nature of Kelly's dance moves. Well, after that video was mocked relentlessly on social media, the Tigers suffered an even bigger blow involving Lewis. The 3-star tight end actually spurned the Tigers in favor of Alabama, despite having dressed in LSU gear and danced around in the embarrassing video.

The only thing that could have made this video more embarrassing was if the player decided against committing to LSU after making this video. And that's exactly what happened, with Lewis announcing Wednesday that he'd be joining Nick Saban in Tuscaloosa.

Lewis had received interest from various top programs around the nation, including the likes of Alabama, LSU, Cincinnati, Florida, and many more. He had visited LSU in December before making trips out to Tuscaloosa and Gainesville in late January. Not long after this video hit the web, Lewis' decision to join Alabama was revealed.

While we'll never get the chance to see Lewis suit up in Kelly's offense, we'll always be able to treasure this video. We can only hope that Kelly will put an end to those videos once and for all, or at the very least save them for after a recruit has officially committed.

Rivals.com ranks Lewis as the No. 19 tight end prospect in the Class of 2022. He had previously committed to Cincinnati but opted to re-open his recruitment in mid-January.
