The Arizona Wildcats have had an outstanding season so far, as they are currently ranked as the number-two team in the nation, though that ranking will change following their loss to unranked Colorado over the weekend. The bottom line is, the Wildcats are enjoying success on the court right now, something that they have put themselves in position to continue given their recent activity off the court. On Monday, the Wildcats received some excellent news: 5-star guard Kylan Boswell, the number-13th ranked prospect in the 2023 class, announced plans to commit to Arizona. Boswell spoke about why he chose the Wildcats, via 247sports.

“Coach Tommy Lloyd really believes in me and thinks I can fit in their system,” he said of why he chose Arizona. “Overall, he's been there since the beginning of my recruitment. I loved this process with them and we have built a great relationship, I've been to the university multiple times and it's a great atmosphere. It feels like it's just the best fit for me.”

The 5-star guard noted the belief that Arizona head coach Tommy Lloyd showed in him, also mentioning that he believes he's a good fit for the Wildcats' system.

Boswell, who played his high-school ball for Chandler Compass Prep, is Lloyd's first 5-star commitment since the head coach arrived in Arizona.

Boswell is an excellent all-around guard, one who has the ability to play both ends of the floor. It's a nice get for the Wildcats, who are already positioned for current success in the NCAA.
