The Chicago Bears are coming off a disappointing showing in the 2019 NFL season. It seems they are currently projected to do much of the same next year.
According to BetOnline.ag Chris Burke of The Athletic, The Bears are expected to repeat with another .500 showing in the 2020 NFL season:

Chicago had generated plenty of hype last year after leading quite the resurgence in the 2018 campaign with a 12-4 record. They were expected to build on their big year by following it up with a potential Super Bowl run. Even head coach Matt Nagy was not shy about embracing the expectations that came with the turnaround.
Unfortunately, it quickly became evident that the Bears are still a work in progress. Nagy's offense had experienced some significant drop-off while quarterback Mitchell Trubisky seemingly regressed under center. As a result, this team is now left with many more questions than answered heading into the offseason.
Chicago's disappointing year is magnified by the fact that their NFC North rivals in the Green Bay Packers managed to make it to the NFC championship despite glaring holes on their roster. Meanwhile, Nagy was unable to prepare this team to take that next step into emerging as bonafide championship contenders.
Going up against talented teams like the Packers and Minnesota Vikings twice a year would not bode well for most teams trying to finish with a winning record.
Regardless, the Bears will need to find a way to get back on track before they are forced to usher in some more significant changes.
