A video circulated Tuesday appearing to show Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters spitting at Cleveland Browns wideout Jarvis Landry during the Monday Night Football showdown between the two teams.

Landry has since seen the video, and he is ready for war.

The Pro Bowler went after Peters on Thursday, saying the Ravens corner would not dare have done such a thing if his back was not turned:

“He’s a coward. Behind my back he may do that but to my face he wouldn’t,” Jarvis Landry said, via Michael David Smith of ProFootballTalk. “I saw the video after the game.”

Peters seems to have some kind of issue with Landry and the Browns. He called Cleveland's wideouts “homegirls” during an appearance on Marlon Humphrey's Instagram Live, also alluding to injured Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

Landry said he has no idea where the animosity is coming from, but Peters has certainly drawn his ire:

“We don’t have a history but for some reason he seemed to have it out for myself,” Jarvis Landry said, via PFT. “If a beef is what he wants, he’s got it.”

The video in question seems to show Peters turning his head and spitting in Landry's direction early in the game:

Cleveland has already had both of its divisional matchups against the Ravens this year, though there is a possibility — albeit a slim one — the AFC North rivals could meet in the playoffs.

Whether Jarvis Landry gets the chance to line up against Marcus Peters or not, he has lost a lot of respect for the two-time All-Pro.
