Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez is confident about his team's mindset heading into next season.

Last season, the Bucks won 62 games and had the best record in the league. They also had the homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs, and at that point, reaching the NBA Finals seemed inevitable with how well they were playing. Milwaukee cruised to the first two rounds of the postseason and they won the first two games of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Toronto Raptors. Unfortunately, that was how far they would go, as the Raps won the next four games and the Bucks were eliminated from the playoffs.

But Lopez and the rest of his teammates are confident that they can replicate their regular season success and finally get over the hump in the playoffs. In an interview with HoopsHype's Alex Kennedy, the incoming 12-year veteran said that everyone on the roster knows what the goal is next season, and that's to win the NBA championship.

“We’re just going to come with the same mentality. We want to be the best team we can be. We want to be the best team in the league. We’re just going to take it game by game. Fortunately, all of the guys on our team have the right mindset. Nobody is in this for the wrong reasons.”

The Bucks will once again be led by reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, together with the core of Lopez, Khris Middleton, and Eric Bledsoe. They have also made key additions to bolster their roster and they're just about ready to start their title quest.

The 2019-20 season is still two months away, but the Bucks are already considered as one of the favorites to win it all, and with the collective mindset that they have, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the Larry O'Brien trophy be hoisted in the streets of Milwaukee next year.
