Giannis Antetokounmpo believes the Milwaukee Bucks can win 70 games this season.

Entering Friday, the Bucks are 41-6. They have the best record in the NBA, just like last season.

“We're not done,” Giannis Antetokounmpo said, via Eric Woodyard of ESPN. “We've got a long way to go. We're on pace, we can probably win 70 games, but at the end of the day, we've got to keep getting better. I think the team is getting better game by game and we're definitely motivated. We haven't done nothing. Not trying to take anything away from the games that we won, but we've got a long way to go and I've said in the past, but I'll say it right now that our goal is to play in June and be the best team we can be at that time.”

In 43 games this season for the Bucks, Antetokounmpo is averaging 30.0 points, 12.9 rebounds and 5.6 assists while shooting 55.7 percent from the floor and 60.6 percent from the free-throw line.

With the Bucks holding the best record in the league again, Giannis has a really good shot at winning his second straight MVP award. It’s not a stretch to say he’s going to dedicate the rest of the season to Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, which will make it all the more fitting if he’s able to end it with his first career championship.

The Bucks lost to the Toronto Raptors in the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals in six games after taking a 2-0 series lead. Expect Milwaukee to be extra motivated this time around to get to the Finals and win the whole thing, especially Giannis, who was outplayed by Kawhi Leonard.

NBA fans are hoping the Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers meet in the Finals. A series with Giannis, LeBron James and Anthony Davis in it would be special.
