After falling awkwardly in Friday's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has officially been listed as doubtful for the team's next game against the Phoenix Suns.

Per Marc Stein of the New York Times, Antetokounmpo is suffering from knee soreness, likely from his incident in Friday's marquee matchup. The 2019 NBA MVP reportedly received an MRI on the knee on Saturday and it is unknown the exact extent of the injury.

Despite getting injured against the Lakers, Antetokounmpo continued to play throughout the game, dropping 32 points, 11 rebounds and six assists in the 10-point loss. And despite the loss, the Bucks still hold the NBA's best record at 53-10.

As for Antetokounmpo, the Greek Freak has taken his game to a whole new level this season, averaging a career-high 29.6 points, 13.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 54.7 percent from the field and 30.6 percent from deep.

Giannis has also only missed six of the Bucks' 63 games this season and hasn't played less than 72 games in a season throughout his previous six seasons.

If he's forced to miss the Suns game, the next chance for Antetokounmpo to return will be on Monday against the Denver Nuggets or when the team returns home to Milwaukee to face the Boston Celtics on Thursday.
