Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer is hoping that Brook Lopez's back injury is a short-term issue.
As reported by Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the team is planning to bring Lopez with them when they travel to Detroit on Tuesday in hopes that he will be available to play.
Bud says Brook Lopez’s back issue is hopefully a short-term thing. Plan is for him to travel to Detroit and maybe play. Also said Sterling Brown (AC joint sprain) is progressing faster than expected. Could be back later this week at earliest.

Lopez has missed the last two games for the Bucks: Saturday's win over the Charlotte Hornets and Monday's win over the New York Knicks. So far, he's averaging 10.7 points and 4.9 rebounds while shooting 41.1 percent from the field in 27 minutes.
Lopez has been a key for Budenholzer and crew. To recall, he entered the league as a traditional center, but over the years, he has added a reliable 3-point shot in his arsenal. This kept him relevant in today's game where almost every single player on the court is expected to have a shooting touch from deep.
While his shot is not as consistent as those of pure shooters, teams don't dare to leave Lopez open. He has earned opposing teams' respect. As such, he has been a critical part of the Bucks' relative success.
Last year's 60-win season was a clear indication that the Bucks have arrived. This year, they're out to get that Larry O'Brien trophy.
