DeMar DeRozan is officially a Chicago Bull. The new Bulls star took to Twitter Wednesday to announce that he has officially signed his three-year, $85 million deal with the franchise.

DeRozan did it in the best way possible:

Bulls fans who have been following the team for a long time will recognize this as one of their first intro videos. Bulls lineup intros became famous around the NBA during the Michael Jordan years, and they became even cooler when the team added these animated videos of bulls running in Chicago as a lead-in.

DeRozan clearly knows the way to a Bulls fan's heart.

Chicago has made a big splash in free agency this year, with DeRozan as a centerpiece of it all. The Bulls struck fast (maybe too fast) by working out a sign-and-trade for Lonzo Ball right at the outset of free agency, and they followed that up by agreeing to deals with Alex Caruso and DeRozan.

It has been a rough few years in Chicago since trading Jimmy Butler and starting a rebuild. They've been one of the worst teams in the NBA over that span, but now there's some excitement brewing with these three acquisitions, Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, Patrick Williams and Coby White leading the core.

LaVine is certainly fired up:

The Eastern Conference is looking more difficult, but the Bulls are hoping this new core will help them take a major leap in the standings under head coach Billy Donovan. It's time to win now with LaVine set to become an unrestricted free agency in 2022.
