While Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine had some issues with how his team closed out the Toronto Raptors on Monday night, things are going pretty well for him. Not only did LaVine just secure his first four-game winning streak in the NBA, but he also passed Michael Jordan on the Bulls' all-time list for 3-pointers made.

This is only LaVine's fifth season in Chicago, and he has dealt with a number of shortened seasons thanks to his recovery from an ACL tear in 2017-18 and the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021. But that hasn't stopped him from climbing up Chicago's 3-point ranks thanks to his incredible shooting prowess.

LaVine passed His Airness on this long ball:

In his Bulls career, LaVine has hit 558 3-pointers on a 39.0% clip in 209 games. Jordan hit 555 triples with the Bulls at a 33.2% rate in 930 regular-season games. MJ also hit 148 3-pointers in the playoffs for the Bulls, but those don't count on this list.

Obviously, the eras are much different. If Jordan played in the modern NBA, he would have taken and made a lot more 3-pointers. Still, it's incredibly impressive that LaVine has already passed the GOAT on this list. The Bulls All-Star has become one of the very best 3-point shooters in the NBA, with the ability to hit them from everywhere.

LaVine is now behind only Kirk Hinrich (1,049), Ben Gordon (770) and Scottie Pippen (664) on this Bulls 3-point list. While Hinrich has a sizable advantage right now, LaVine could very well break that record if he sticks around for the long haul and stays healthy.

LaVine is set to be an unrestricted free agent next summer, but all signs point to him staying. The Bulls getting out to a 4-0 start is certainly a good way to start his contract season.
