It is no secret that the Arizona Cardinals have a busy offseason ahead of them. Fortunately, they can expect wide receiver Christian Kirk to be a part of the process.

Kirk suffered a broken foot in Week 13 of the 2018 NFL season. However, he is confident that he will be back to 100 percent by the end of this month, via Cardinals Twitter:

“I should be fully healthy by the end of February.”

This is certainly an encouraging update considering he suffered the injury in December. The fact that he expects to make it back so soon is a testament to his durability. More importantly, the Cardinals can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that they will be able to continue to develop one of their more promising, young wideouts this offseason.

Arizona selected Kirk in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He managed to show some flashes of potential despite the Cardinals' offense being virtually nonexistent all year. He finished the 2018 campaign with 43 receptions for 590 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games. The team is hoping that he can continue to develop his rapport with quarterback Josh Rosen this offseason amidst their current rebuild.

Although Kirk is adamant about making his return, it is safe to say that Arizona will take a cautious approach with his recovery. There is little reason for him to risk further injury so early in the offseason. It remains to be seen whether or not he will be a full participant in offseason activities moving forward.
