New Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is expected to be the starting quarterback when the team kicks off its regular season against the Detroit Lions, but if he isn't the starter that isn't something that he is very concerned about.

During his introductory press conference, Murray said that he is more worried about getting better every day and the rest will work itself out.

“I'm just ready to work, come in here to work hard, get better each and every day, no matter the situation,” Murray said via ESPN. “That's my job.

“I'm not really worried about starting the first game or anything like that. For me, all I can do is come in, get better each and every day.”

This is a good sign that Murray is ready to play football because after he was drafted by the Oakland Athletics, he still said he was excited to play the football season with the Oklahoma Sooners.

“I just thank God for the abilities to allow me to play both games at a high level, my parents for pushing me every day, teammates, coaches,” Murray said. “But I don't think that'll soak in until later down the line.”

The Cardinals haven't traded Josh Rosen yet, but the expectation is that the team will find a partner to ship Rosen to. Even if for some reason the team decides to keep Rosen around it's hard to imagine the team would run him out there week one to start, and all signs point towards him being on a different team.
