Larry Fitzgerald finished his 17th season with the Arizona Cardinals in 2020 and is undecided on returning for an 18th season with the franchise that drafted him in 2004. While taking part in a golf pro-am at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Fitzgerald spoke about his future in the NFL and didn't offer up too much.

“Just taking it day by day,” Fitzgerald said, via NFL.com's Kevin Patra.

Similar to how he treats every game in the NFL, Fitzgerald made it clear that he wanted to approach each hole on the golf course one at a time instead of thinking about his retirement decision.

“I'm just focused on the next hole and just figuring out how to get this golf game right. That's all I'm worried about right now,” he said, via Cameron Cox of KPNX Arizona. “Everything will take care of itself.”

Ahead of the 2020 season, Larry Fitzgerald decided to return for his 17th season in the NFL. The future Hall of Famer  finished with 54 receptions for 409 yards and one receiving touchdown, all career lows for Fitzgerald.

During the 2020 season, Fitzgerald also missed three games, causing him to miss a game for the first time since the 2014 season. While he may not be the same player he once was, Fitzgerald is still chasing an elusive Super Bowl ring.

Despite the fact that he turns 38 years old in August, Larry Fitzgerald still seems to have an interest in catching passes for the Cardinals. With that being said, the sure-handed wideout isn't in any rush to announce whether or not he will be playing next season.
