Celtics big man Enes Kanter put up a strong defensive performance in Tuesday's victory over the Hornets, sending back a career-high six shots. Curiously, the NBA has decided to drug test the former No. 3 overall pick.
Kanter sent out a sarcastic tweet after learning that he had been selected for testing, thanking the NBA:
Got 6 blocks for the first time in my career and now about to get Drug tested 😅
Thanks @NBA 🤦🏻♂️

Enes Kanter logged 23 minutes in Tuesday's 109-92 win, scoring 13 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field (1-of-2 from the free-throw line), 14 rebounds and two assists. With the victory, the Celtics completed a 3-0 season sweep over the Hornets.
According to Celtics Stats, Kanter is the first Boston reserve to score 13-plus points, 14-plus rebounds and six-plus blocked shots in a single game:

Jayson Tatum led Boston in scoring, racking up 24 points. Kemba Walker, who was making his second appearance in Charlotte after being traded to Boston in July, finished with 22 points.
Kanter joined the Celtics this offseason. He's been a fine addition to the team's roster, as he's one of the league's top rebounding bigs (currently 25th in the NBA).
“Give me the MVP, baby!” Kanter said after when asked about his career-high six blocks.

The Celtics have won six of their last seven games. They'll look to keep their momentum rolling on Friday night, when they'll serve as hosts to the Atlanta Hawks. Tip-off inside TD Garden is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.
