Boston Celtics small forward Gordon Hayward has averaged 19 points per game over his last three contests, which have come as a part of Boston's current West Coast swing. Hayward has shot 70.6 percent from the field overall in that span, but when asked about what's been helping him click on all cylinders, he had this to say via Brian Robb of the Boston Sports Journal:

“I try not to judge my performance based on if I'm shooting the ball well or not, but I think I've been aggressive in each of the games. I've definitely made winning plays for our team and the thing I am most aware of is that we've won in all three of them.”

It's possible that Hayward is onto something there, as his numbers bear out the fact that the Celtics win when he plays better. In the team's 37 victories that Hayward has appeared in, he has averaged 13.2 points per game on 50.9 percent shooting, while the 24 losses he has been a part of have resulted in just 7.8 points at 34 percent shooting.

Hayward's current three-game stretch of having scored in double figures comes on the heels of having scored in single digits in five straight games to close out February and open March. It has been a constant ebb and flow this season that has led him to averaging 11.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.

Luckily for him, the West Coast swing continues Monday with a match-up against the Los Angeles Clippers before the team returns home.
