Ahead of the Boston Celtics' duel with the daunting Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, Jaylen Brown revealed that Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of his favorite players in the league.

Brown admitted that he really likes the mindset and work ethic of Antetokounmpo, who won the 2018-19 MVP award against strong competition from James Harden.

“They're a good team. Giannis [Antetokounmpo] is a good player — probably one of my favorite players in the league just cause mindset and mentality alone,” Brown said, per NBC Sports Boston.

The 6-foot-6 swingman is setting a new career-best in scoring through three games this season, averaging 17.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists.

The 2-1 Celtics host the visiting 2-1 Bucks, led by Antetokounmpo, on Wednesday evening and follow that game up with a rematch with the New York Knicks.

Brown's showdown with the “Greek Freak,” however, is much anticipated due to the two teams' shared history. Last postseason, Milwaukee eliminated the Celtics in five games. Antetokounmpo averaged 28.4 points per game in the series.

The second-round exist by Boston preceded an unusually hectic summer for the Celtics, which included the departure of Al Horford and Kyrie Irving and the addition of Walker, Enes Kanter and multiple rookies like Romeo Langford and Carsen Edwards.

The Bucks, meanwhile, went on to lose to Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals last season — a place Brown and the Celtics aspire to be by the end of the year.
