Boston Celtics president Danny Ainge couldn't hold his excitement as his second-year forward Jaylen Brown drove to the basket and scored over DeMarcus Cousins, all while getting contact and the foul call for a 3-point opportunity.

Ainge couldn't stop laughing as Brown flexed his bicep on Cousins, even though Brown smiled at the end to show that the gesture was not malicious, Cousins didn't seem to appreciate the gesture and shook his head.

The Pelicans got the better of the Celtics though, pulling out a 116-113 win over the Eastern Conference leaders. Anthony Davis led the Pelicans with 45 points, 16 rebounds and two assists, while Kyrie Irving led the Celtics with 27 points, seven rebounds and two assists.

It's easy to see why Cousins wouldn't appreciate the gesture even though it was not meant to provoke him. Cousins has always been known as a hothead who can explode on another player or a referee. It's actually surprising that his reaction to the incident was to just shake his head back at Brown.

The shooting guard finished the game with 16 points, four rebounds and five assists. He is slowly becoming an important piece for the Celtics.

The Celtics will need all the help they can get after losing Gordon Hayward to a horrific injury in the first game of the season.

Boston still holds the first seed in the East with a record of 34-11 and it hasn't been product of Irving alone, but also due to Brown's timely contributions throughout the season.
