Tuesday night featured a marquee matchup between two bitter rivals in the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers. Jayson Tatum looked like he came out with something to prove in this one and at one point, he decided to showcase his skill and strength against not one, but two LA superstars.

Tatum pulled off a beautiful spin move to leave Carmelo Anthony completely in the dust before throwing down a thunderous slam all over Russell Westbrook (h/t Bleacher Report on Twitter):

Westbrook is usually the one putting opponents on posters but this time around, he was on the receiving end of a highlight-reel dunk courtesy of Jayson Tatum. It also looks like the Celtics star got hit by Russ in the face during the play so this could have very easily been an and-1. Either way, it was clear in this play that Tatum is now reaping the benefits of his hard work in the gym.

The Celtics have a tough week ahead of them. After Tuesday's matchup against the Lakers, Boston will face the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday in a back-to-back set. They get the Phoenix Suns next (Friday) before returning home to host the defending champions Milwaukee Bucks on Monday.
