On Tuesday, Boston Celtics small forward Jayson Tatum conducted a Reddit AMA. During his time answering questions, he responded candidly about his time working out with Kobe Bryant over the summer, his playoff performance as a rookie and more.

Tatum was also asked about one of his career highlights — his absurd 2018 dunk in the playoffs over superstar LeBron James. His response was exactly what one would expect:

“After I did it, for like a quick second I couldn’t believe it. But it didn’t really settle in until after the game because I was just going onto the next play. After the game my phone was blowing up.”

The dunk took place in Game 7 of the 2018 Eastern Conference Finals. With the Celtics down only four points to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the elimination game, Tatum made one of the league's marquee players look silly. He drove from the top of the key to the hoop for the slam, posterizing James. He even bumped James as he ran back down the court.

While the Celtics went on to lose the game, the play made Jayson Tatum a Boston legend. In his sophomore season, the 21-year-old is averaging 15.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists while shooting 45.2 percent. The talented forward will continue to be a huge part of Boston's success.

At 46-32, the Celtics are tied with the Indiana Pacers for the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. They will be in Miami to take on the eighth-seeded Heat on Wednesday night.
