The Game 6 antics of Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse has received an ample amount of criticism, with some Boston Celtics fans believing that he might have contributed to Jayson Tatum's late-game turnover.
Tatum himself has been made aware of the matter, but he downplayed Nurse's role.
Per Jared Weiss of The Athletic, Tatum didn't lay any blame on Nurse for his costly turnover with less than a minute left in regulation. As seen in the photos, Nurse was standing in the corner just outside the line — the area where Tatum passed the ball.
Many fans, especially those of the Celtics, slammed Nurse for his actions.
Didn't realize until after the game the reason Tatum passed to Nurse wasn't just because Nurse was standing out of the coach box, but he was literally standing in bounds in the corner.
"That was my fault. Can’t blame Nick Nurse. He’s not playing. It was my fault," Tatum said. pic.twitter.com/yHbyqn0OXw

Game 6 was neck and neck throughout. The Celtics, who were up 3-2, had a chance to boot out the defending champions in convincing fashion. However, Tatum's turnover in a tied game prevented them from taking a possible lead.
The Raptors failed to capitalize on the Jayson Tatum error, but the game had to go to two overtimes to decide the victor. In the end, it was Nick Nurse and the Raptors who came out on top.
Only one could imagine what would have happened had the Celtics kept the ball and scored.
Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Celtics and the Raptors will be on Friday. Will Toronto's quest to defend their title continue? Or is it Boston who'll face the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals?
