Boston Celtics small forward Jayson Tatum needed three emojis to react to Tom Brady's goodbye letter to New England Patriots fans.

Brady announced on Tuesday he's leaving the Patriots after a legendary run. Tatum, like everyone in the sports world, recognizes Brady as the GOAT:

Does this mean Boston is officially Tatum's city now that Brady is gone? The Celtics All-Star is only 22-years-old. He has an incredibly bright future ahead of him and the Celtics are hoping the swingman spends his entire NBA career in Beantown.

Before the NBA suspended the season last Wednesday after Utah Jazz All-Star center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus, Tatum and the Celtics were in third place in the Eastern Conference standings with a record of 43-21. Tatum was averaging 23.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists for the Celtics. He was shooting 44.8 percent from the field, 39.8 percent from beyond the arc and 80.6 percent from the free-throw line.

The city of Boston is hurting right now with the loss of Brady. To make matters even worse, the fans can't even watch the Celtics, Boston Red Sox or Boston Bruins since the NBA, MLB and NHL have all suspended play due to the coronavirus pandemic.

There has been talk that the NBA could maybe resume play in June or July. We'll see if that actually happens.

Tatum and the Celtics players are being advised to stay inside and not work out with other NBA players.
