Boston Celtics All-Stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are pretty tight on and off the court. Following the Celtics' 120-11 win over the Charlotte Hornets at TD Garden on Wednesday, Tatum was asked who is his favorite teammate to play with. Brown should have been the no-brainer answer for the 23-year-old swingman, right?

Wrong.

Per Jay King of The Athletic, Tatum chose Celtics' young center Robert Williams as his favorite teammate because of the contagious energy he brings.

Is this a sign of potential trouble in paradise in Beantown? Perhaps not. After all, it's not hard to have a liking to Williams with all the positives he brings to the table for the Celtics. So we shouldn't fault Tatum if he enjoys having a guy like Time Lord on the floor.

The 23-year-old Williams has been a solid anchor for the Cs interior this season. In 49 games played, he is norming 8.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks in just around 18 minutes per game.

Against the Hornets on Wednesday, Williams once again put up a strong contribution in limited playing time. He tallied four points, nine rebounds, two steals, and two blocks in 17 minutes. Tatum, for his part, had 35 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists, while Brown had a game-best 38 markers built on seven three-pointers.

The Tatum and Brown tandem has become one of the best one-two punch duos in the game today. While some pundits have questioned if the pair can co-exist on the floor, looks like the Celtics stars are proving their doubters wrong so far. Sure, Jayson Tatum is also quite fond of Jaylen Brown, but it seems he does have a soft spot for Robert Williams as well.
