All-Star point guard Kemba Walker can't foresee the future, but he believes the Boston Celtics “can be really good” in 2019-20.

Walker, who has only been to the playoffs twice in his NBA career, says this is the first time he's been on a team which has expectations. The three-time All-Star is excited about that.

“It's on us. We're the ones who have to set that tone. I think we can be really good,” Walker told ESPN's Jackie MacMullan. “I can't foresee the future, but I think we have a chance to be really good.

“This is definitely the first team that I will be on with any expectations. It feels good. It feels good to be talked about. It's gonna allow me to kind of tap into a whole new zone and work ethic level.”

One of the main reasons Kemba Walker decided to sign with the Celtics was the chance to compete in the postseason.

Walker never played with an All-Star in his time with the Charlotte Hornets and only made the playoffs twice.

In Boston, Walker will be coached by one of the best coaches in the game in Brad Stevens, and will get to play alongside Gordon Hayward, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.
