Boston Celtics stud Marcus Morris is by no means in the upper echelon of players in the league. He is more of a serviceable role player that has successfully established himself as a significant part of his team's rotation.

However, there's one thing Morris excels at. According to the 29-year-old, he considers himself to be the greatest Madden player in the entire league.

“I might be the best Madden player in the league,” Morris told Jay King of The Athletic. “When all these guys were in school and they were getting their night of rest, I was up playing Madden at the Gamble House in Philly trying to get some school money.”

While this may initially come off as conceited and overly confident on the surface, it is actually quite an inspirational story from Morris here. As it turns out, the 6-foot-9 forward developed into the self-proclaimed top Madden player in the NBA out of necessity.

Young kids making a living just to get by is nothing new to us. However, hustling by means of gambling over a computer game is definitely not your everyday type of tale.

At the very least, Morris was able to put his obsession on video games to good use, and even made some money out of it. At best, it's a much safer, less violent, and relatively legal means of hustling. It got Morris off the streets and he eventually landed a gig in the NBA, so in hindsight, it was not all bad for the Philadelphia native.
