The beef between Paul Pierce and Ray Allen has been simmering for nearly a decade. The former Boston Celtics sharpshooter haven't exactly been on great terms with his former team, particularly with his star teammates in Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Rajon Rondo.

But could the Celtics legends finally have squashed the beef? That's what it looks like after Paul Pierce posted a video of the two at the Hall of Fame ceremony.

“Everybody wanna know. We always gonna be brothers,” said Pierce. “So for everyone who wanna know, there you go.”

Things got frosty between Ray Allen and the rest of the Big 3 Boston Celtics ever since the sharpshooter jumped ship to the Miami Heat back in 2012. The move was obviously a boon for Allen, netting another ring for himself. He also hit one of the greatest and most consequential shots in NBA history during Game 6 of the 2014 NBA Finals.

But Ray Allen's stint with the Celtics was nothing to scoff at. He garnered three All-Star selections and was one of the stars on their championship team that got both Pierce and KG their rings. To leave that on a sour note going forward would have indeed been unfortunate, so it's great to see Ray Allen and Paul Pierce finally clear the air.
