The Portland Trail Blazers and the Boston Celtics faced off against each other Sunday night. Apparently, there was something fishy happening with the hoop the Celtics were shooting at during the first half.
Very interesting situation right now in Portland.
Blazers (-2) lead 54-37 at the half but now they are working on the hoop that Boston shot on in the 1st half and that Portland will shoot on in the 2nd half.
Apparently the rim was not regulation and was slanted or off kilter š

Yes, Boston is only 4-4 on the road entering Sunday's contest, but they do not shoot the ball that badly. However, the Celtics have gotten off to slow starts this season.
Celtics are ranked 24th in terms of points per game. They are only averaging 106.1 pointsĀ per outing. With the number of offensive weapons they have on the team, it is pretty crazy to see them ranking near the bottom of points per game.
As the season goes on, however, they could be one of the top offensive teams in the league. Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward are coming back from injuries and are trying to get into a rhythm on both ends of the floor and with the rest of the team.
Back to the incident in Portland, when the Celtics switched sides and the rim on the other hoop was leveled, Boston exploded for 33 points in the quarter.
Yes, the rim being slanted and not leveled hurt them pretty bad during the first half. It is surprising that no one really caught that the rim was not leveled until before the start of the second half.
