Aside from continuing to establish himself as one of the premier franchise players in the NBA, Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving is still seemingly on his journey to prove the Earth's true physical form. Needless to say, Irving has caught his fair share of flak from staunch believers in modern science.

With the 2018 NBA All-Star weekend in full effect, the Celtics star was made available to media prior to the game. Former NBA player and ESPN analyst Stephen Jackson used the opportunity to troll Irving with a 'round' globe.

Irving's conspiracy theories and eccentric demeanor have been one of the more comical storylines surrounding the NBA over the last year. However, that is not to say the former NBA champ is not firm in his beliefs. He has simply gone on record as to suggesting other people question theirs. Regardless, there is no denying that Irving's label as a “flat-earther” has taken on a life of its own.

Jackson was not the only one to give Irving a hard time about his beliefs over the last week after he was recently gifted a globe during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Meanwhile, it still remains to be seen whether or not Jackson actually got the autograph thanks to his rapport with Irving.

The five-time All-Star has become one of the NBA's biggest names both on and off the court. While it is fair to label Irving's views on certain topics as a bit outlandish, perhaps it is just part of the off-court persona that has facilitated his other career as a filmmaker.
