When the Boston Celtics learned that Kyrie Irving was deemed out for the season after undergoing a surgery back in March, the news fell on them like a cement block. How are they going to win the Eastern Conference or take home an NBA title this year without the point guard?

While they failed to accomplish either mission, the Celtics managed to wow the rest of the NBA with their grit and resolve, making it all the way into the conference finals and coming just a win short of challenging the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals. Perhaps no Celtic embodied the team’s resoluteness better than point guard Terry Rozier, who stepped in to cover the void left by Irving and delivered more than what was expected of him — a clear product of his hard work.

While Rozier is a clear believer of putting in work in the gym and during practices, he’s not that much of a fan of showing off workout videos on social media, as evidenced by a recent tweet he recently posted.

People can take that message as an indirect shot at the several players who have inundated the internet with videos of their offseason workouts. It seems that for Rozier, all those clips are merely a reflection of vanity.

It’s just an opinion for Rozier, though., and people can tell him to mind his own business. In any case, Rozier will look to build on his impressive performance in the last playoffs in which he averaged 16.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game, as he aims to have a bigger role next season for Boston.
