Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics are among the best duos in the NBA right now.

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr knows a thing or two about dynamic duos (and trios and quartets), so his extremely high praise of Brown and Tatum comes as no surprise.

Kerr was quoted regarding the pair of young superstars ahead of the Celtics and Warriors matchup on Tuesday (via by Taylor Snow of Celtics.com).

“Jayson and Jaylen, they're part of that rare breed that we're all looking for in the NBA, guys who can do everything. They have the size and the speed and quickness to guard every position. They have the skill set to score from any part of the floor. They can make threes, they can get out in transition and hammer dunks, they can score in the half-court using their footwork.”

After his first NBA All-Star stint last season, Tatum has even improved his numbers, averaging career-highs of 26.8 points, 48.4 percent field goal shooting, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists before their game against the Warriors. Brown is also having the best campaign of his young career, putting up a team-high 27.1 points on top of 5.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists.

But Kerr also said, aside from their talents, the characters of Tatum and Brown also stand out.

“What makes them even better is just their human qualities—their work ethic, the chemistry they generate on a team. They're fun guys to coach, fun guys to play with. But when you have that combination of being a really good person and having that kind of God-given ability, it's a great combination.”

The Celtics continue to be among the best teams in the Eastern Conference, though their 10-8 record to start the season is not quite as impressive as it could be. But with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown leading the charge, the team will always be dangerous competition.
