Boston Celtics big man Enes Kanter went back to Madison Square Garden for RAW and trolled the New York crowd.

Kanter's appearance at RAW was met with boos by the New York crowd upon his introduction. In an amusing twist of events, the Turkish big man won the WWE 24/7 title after taking down R-Truth with a massive clothesline and pinning him for the three count.

As he raised his newly won belt up, he opened his jacket to reveal his new Celtics jersey — pissing off the crowd even more. However, Kanter should've paid attention to R-Truth. The professional wrestling legend may have been down for the count, but like a real icon, he's never fully out.

Kanter may have one of the shortest championship reigns in professional wrestling history. But in that short span that he was a champion, the Celtics center made sure that the moment will live on forever.

Does Kanter have a future in the WWE after his NBA career?

Perhaps time will only if Kanter follows through with his WWE career. In the upcoming months though, he should be focused on his basketball career, particularly his new journey donning the legendary Celtics uniforms.

As the team's new starting center, he's expected to fill in the void left by Al Horford. As such, his tasks include being the team's defensive anchor as well as working seamlessly with wing players such as Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
