The LA Clippers will take on Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center Tuesday night. The Clippers had been without star forward Paul George since December 26th as he was rehabbing from a torn UCL in his right elbow. Nonetheless, it would not hurt to know: Is Paul George playing vs Timberwolves?
Is Paul George playing vs Timberwolves?
Well, is Paul George playing tonight? The Clippers had been struggling mightily since George was sidelined due to the elbow injury. George began feeling pain in his elbow in the second week of December, which forced him to miss a five-game stretch, but he returned for two games against the San Antonio Spurs and Sacramento Kings on December 20 and December 22, respectively. With three days between games, the team conducted an MRI, and discovered the torn UCL in his right elbow. The team announced on December 25th that George would be re-evaluated in three-to-four weeks.
The Clippers went 23-26 since Paul George was officially sidelined on Christmas Day, and 24-27 overall without PG13 this season.
Following over two months of rest and a few months of rehab, Paul George made his return to the Clippers lineup on March 29th, 2022. He scored 34 points in his return, leading the Clippers to a 25-point comeback win over the visiting Utah Jazz. He played in five of the Clippers final seven games of the season, resting on the second night of two back-to-back sets.
Here's good friend and teammate Reggie Jackson celebrating the return of Paul George after the win over the Jazz.

Paul George himself addressed the media following his return, and said the plan was always to try and come back this season.
“I was always optimistic that I could come back and play, just my history, coming down to playoffs,” George said after his long-awaited return to the Clippers lineup. “I've always played through some sort of injury, so, I just didn't know how bad it was gonna be or how much time it was gonna take, but I just kept the guys encouraged to keep going and stay in it because at some point I will return.

Since his return to the Clippers lineup, Paul George has averaged 22.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 2.8 steals on 42.5 percent shooting from the field and 52.5 percent shooting from three. He's played in every game that wasn't part of a back-to-back set, and has slowly had his minutes ramped up from 30 to about 36. Entering Tuesday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, George is believed to have his minutes restriction lifted.
In 31 appearances for the Clippers this season, Paul George averaged 24.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 2.2 steals per game on 42.1 percent shooting from the field and 35.4 percent shooting from beyond the arc.. Nonetheless, hopefully this helps to answer the question — is Paul George playing tonight? Yes, he is.
