When you play for a team in Los Angeles, you are going to get a lot of exposure. Despite being from California, Leonard’s decision to sign with the Clippers last summer did shock some people since he’s not the type of guy who enjoys being in the limelight.
Fortunately for Leonard, the media in Los Angeles tends to focus more on LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers, as well as all the other celebrities in Hollywood. Even though the new face of the Clippers franchise can’t just go out in public freely like everyone else, the Fun Guy is still not under the media storm eye that LeBron is on.
Leonard is averaging 26.9 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game on the season for the Clippers in 55 starts. The team is back in action on Saturday against the Portland Trail Blazers.
After the Blazers game, the Clippers will face the Brooklyn Nets, Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder to wrap up the seeding games.
