The Los Angeles Clippers made a massive splash in free agency earlier this month when they have announced that they have acquired reigning Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Both players were officially introduced today, and the franchise is obviously excited about their future with these superstars leading the way.

Clippers' President of Basketball Operations Lawrence Frank is extremely happy about the team's offseason. During the introductory press conference, he called Leonard and George the best two-way players in the NBA right now.

No one can argue about what Frank just said as both Kawhi and PG are both excellent scorers and defenders.

George was nominated for both the season MVP and Defensive Player of the Year for his stellar play last season, and although he didn't win any of those, those recognitions were testaments to how good he was on both ends of the floor.

Leonard wasn't in the conversation for any awards last season, but he led the Toronto Raptors to their first-ever NBA championship. He had a historic run in the playoffs, which saw him dominate on offense while also shutting down the opposing teams' best players.

With both of them on the Clippers, it is no surprise that they are being considered as the favorites to tin the title next season. LA has one of the best defensive rosters in the league, which will most certainly be a problem for most of the opposition.

The Clippers are on the rise, and while they may not be prominent figures in the city of Los Angeles, they are still the best team in the West on paper.

And that will hold to be true unless proven otherwise.
