Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer is “obsessed” with toilets, which is why the team's upcoming arena in Inglewood–called Intuit Dome–will have 1500 of it.
During the groundbreaking ceremony of the Clippers future home, Ballmer revealed why there will be a lot of toilets in Intuit Dome. For the former Microsoft CEO, he doesn't want the fans to wait in long lines and miss important parts of the game.
No one can't blame Steve Ballmer, though. Long lines in toilets and restrooms are pretty common in sports arenas and a problem more often than not–not just for the Clippers and NBA. However, it's still pretty funny that it's one of the main features of Intuit Dome.
Of course the Clippers owner emphasizing such “fixtures” will be the butt of jokes, especially with the team yet to win the championship with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George leading the way.
Then again, Ballmer is confident that his team can contend and win the championship sooner rather than later.
There are certainly a lot of things to expect on the Clippers moving forward–from their performance in the NBA to the construction and opening of their new arena by the 2024-25 season. With that said, there's a lot of reason to be excited about (not just about their toilets).
