A new playoff series means having the opportunity to go up against a different set of players, which is the case when the San Antonio Spurs face the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals starting on Sunday.

It will also be a chance for David Lee to compete against his former team and defend his good friend, Draymond Green. When asked about the prospect of being on the receiving end of the Dubs forward's trash talking, Lee made it known that he and the Spurs will take on their usual approach during games and be business-like throughout the series. He also added that he may celebrate on some baskets he'll score, but will not retaliate with some smack-talking of his own.

Lee played for the Warriors for five seasons and was part of their championship winning squad back in the 2014-2015 season. He was a key piece of their rotation and provided the team with solid rebounding and quality minutes off the bench.

The two are expected to be matched up in a lot of stretches throughout the series. Given their familiarity of each other's games, it will be very interesting to see what kind of adjustments they'll make to boost their team's chances of making it to the NBA Finals.
