Derrick Rose finally had his chance to speak after being traded from the Chicago Bulls, to the New York Knicks.

Rose’s press conference was held on Friday, as he spoke about his career, new expectations and the trade to New York in general.

He mentioned wanting to finish his career in New York, and complimented his new teammates Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis.

Rose, after throwing in a few words of profanity also gave one of the most confusing statements of the day.

When asked why he thought he was traded from Chicago, Rose replied:

I don't know why I was traded, but I would like to tell them Thank You
