It's no secret that Memphis Grizzlies shooting guard D.J. Stephens has monstrous hops, but it's one thing to talk about it and another to witness it like his teammates did during warmups prior to their Thursday night game against the Atlanta Hawks.

The 6-foot-5 University of Memphis product threw one down with authority after bouncing the ball off the hardwood, generating laughs from his teammates as he seemed shot out of a trampoline.

Here's some further proof of his aerial display from a still frame of the three-second video.

Stephens impressed scouts during his draft combine in 2013 as he registered the highest standing vertical leap (40 inches) and the highest running vertical leap (46 inches) ever recorded by the NBA.

After being undrafted in 2013, Stephens played in Turkey, Greece, and Russia before joining the D-League in 2015 where he started to develop as a player.

D.J. Stephens had a well-rounded outing in a Grizzlies uniform as he scored 13 points to along with eight rebounds, four steals, and two treys against the Hawks on Thursday in his 23 minutes on the floor.
