The NFL schedule release was a couple of weeks ago, and we can now start planning our fall Sundays. The Philadelphia Eagles have a big season ahead of them after a disappointing finish to last year, and Eagles fans are excited for the season after seeing the schedule. This is a big season as last year ended with disappointment after being one of the best teams in football. The Eagles want to look like the team from the first half of last year, but there are some tough stretches on their schedule that can hold them back.

The Eagles are a very intriguing team heading into next season. Which team are we going to see? The one that started last season 10-1 and looked like a Super Bowl contender? Or the team that finished the regular season 1-5 in their last six games and went down in the Wild Card round? Who knows, but the Eagles are hoping that it's the first one.

Last year's collapse was bizarre to see. The Eagles were one of the best teams in football, and they fell apart out of nowhere. They were never to find their stride again, and they went down in the first round of the postseason. Philadelphia will have a lot of good talent this year, but they can't let a stretch like that happen.

Unfortunately for the Eagles, there are some difficult stretches on their schedule. The first four weeks are tough as they have road games against the Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (who beat Philadelphia in the playoffs last year), and a lone home game against the Atlanta Falcons. However, there is one part of the schedule that will be more difficult.

Week nine through week 13 is going to be a tough stretch for the Eagles. They will start it off with a home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars had a great start to the season last year, but after quarterback Trevor Lawrence got injured, they just weren't the same. If he can stay healthy this season, the Jaguars should be a pretty good team.

After that, the Eagles have to hit the road to take on the Dallas Cowboys. This is the big matchup when it comes to the NFC East, and both games between the two teams will be huge for the division race. Dallas hasn't been able to find playoff success, but they have been very good in the regular season. This is going to be a very tough game to win for Philadelphia.

The easy game in this stretch is a home game against the Washington Commanders. The Eagles have to take advantage of their games against Washington as they will once again be one of the worst teams in the NFL. This should be a win for Philadelphia, but their next game will be tough.

In week 12, the Eagles will travel across the country to play the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams made it to the playoffs last season and they lost on the road against the Detroit Lions. Los Angeles should be good once again, and this is another tough game.

After that, the Rams will be back on the road against the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens were one of the best teams in the NFL last season and they are going to be a Super Bowl contender once again. This one is on the road, too, so it's going to be especially tough.

ClutchPoints recently did predictions for all 17 regular season games for each NFL team, and the prediction for this stretch is a 2-3 record:

Week 9 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Another big game in week nine for the Eagles as Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars will be coming to town for Sunday Night Football. This should be another great game with two great QBs going up against each other, and the Eagles are going to get a big win in front of their home crowd to improve to 6-2. WIN.

Week 10 at Dallas Cowboys

This is one of the biggest games of the season for the Eagles and the Cowboys. Whenever these two rivals get together, it's going to be good. Dallas and Philadelphia should both be very good yet again next season, and both of their head-to-head games should have big implications on the division race. The Cowboys are going to take round one in Dallas. LOSS.

Week 11 vs. Washington Commanders

The Commanders struggled a lot last season and we are likely going to see much of the same next year. Washington and New York will likely be the bottom two teams in the division yet again, with Dallas and Philadelphia finishing as the top two teams. The Eagles shouldn't have much trouble getting it done at home against the Commanders. WIN.

Week 12 at Los Angeles Rams

This is going to be a tough road matchup for the Eagles and they are once again going to be back in a primetime game. These two playoff teams are going to do battle from Los Angeles on Sunday Night Football, and it should be another exciting matchup. Expect a close one, but the Rams are going to find a way to get it done at home. LOSS.

Week 13 at Baltimore Ravens

The road isn't going to get any easier for the Eagles the following week when they have to hit the road to take on the Ravens. Baltimore should end up being in the Super Bowl conversation yet again, and they are going to be an extremely tough out for anybody next year. Going on the road and beating them is a tall task, and the Eagles aren't going to do it. LOSS.

The home game against the Commanders shouldn't be much of a challenge, but other than that, that stretch has four very difficult games for the Eagles. That is going to be a very important time for this team and they are going to have to find a way to win some challenging contests. That stretch will tell us a lot about the Eagles.
