Anthony Edwards is currently one of the fastest rising stars in the NBA. Despite being only 22 years of age, the two-time All-Star is the face of the Timberwolves franchise.

Moreover, he recently led the Timberwolves past Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. Currently, the Timberwolves are giving the defending champion Denver Nuggets a run for their money in the second round.

But while Edwards has been tearing it up on the court, it's safe to say that the Timberwolves star also has a funny personality that makes him easier to like. Let's take a closer look at Anthony Edwards' 10 funniest moments.

10. Jason Williams' coaching story

After starring for Holy Spirit Preparatory School, nearly everyone knew about Anthony Edwards except former NBA player Jason Williams, who was coaching that night.

It took a tap on the shoulder from the director of the tournament to persuade Edwards to check in the game, as the current Timberwolves star had to come off the bench. But when he got in, Edwards instantly took over.

9. A1 from Day One

Edwards stamped his class in the NBA with his athleticism. But when asked about playing other sports, Ant-Man surely didn't back down from the challenge.

Edwards assured that he could play any sport, especially when there's money on the line. To cap off the interview, Edwards claimed he was “A1 from Day One.”

8. Who farted?

It's all good with the Timberwolves, especially after taking the first two games in their second-round clash against the defending champion Denver Nuggets. With the Timberwolves enjoying a big lead, Edwards couldn't help find the perpetrator who farted in the Timberwolves' bench. Nevertheless, the Timberwolves enter Game 3 on their home court in high spirits.

7. “Hell naw”

Given Edwards' heightened play, it isn't surprising that fans have been comparing Ant-Man to Michael Jordan. Although Edwards has plenty of respect for His Airness, the Timberwolves star disagrees that Jordan could guard him. While Edwards acknowledges Jordan's GOAT status, he's also confident enough to give the six-time NBA champion a run for his money.

6. Chicken in the pocket

In an Open Thoughts interview, Edwards was having a great time answering some questions. His time further improved when the Timberwolves star was served with some spicy fried chicken. But when he offered Funny Marco one of his chickens, Edwards was hilariously found speechless after the former placed the chicken in the pocket of his coat.

5. Jim's accent

After a 139-112 tough beatdown against the Milwaukee Bucks, Edwards took some time after the game to answer the reporters' questions. However, after a question made by Raidió Corca Baiscinn's Jim Conlan, Edwards couldn't answer his question at first.

Instead, the Timberwolves star confessed to be a fan of his special accent. Edwards revealed that he wanted to talk like Jim and requested to repeat the question.

4. YERRR for Cardi B

Cardi B is one of the rising rappers today. Since then, she has garnered many fans, including the two-time All-Star.

In an interview with Yerrr or Nahhh, Edwards didn't hide his admiration for the popular rapper. In fact, he even requested for a video of Cardi B twerking in one of her music videos. Not only did Edwards press the Yerrr button with a passion but also revealed how much he loves film breakdown.

3. Ordering McDonald's during his postgame conference

While Edwards always has a treat for NBA fans during games, it's safe to say one can also anticipate something special from the Timberwolves star during the postgame presser.

After dropping 25 points in a victory over the Detroit Pistons, 128-117, Edwards requested reporters to hold their questions before he finished ordering some McDonald's, which isn't an ideal diet for an NBA athlete.

2. Shouting back at a fan after free throws

Edwards was one of the brightest stars that was listed on Team USA's roster for the 2023 FIBA World Cup in Manila.

The fans ultimately tried to distract Edwards with their screams while he was taking free throws in a first-round game against Greece. But not only did the Timberwolves star make the free throw, but he also capped off the make with a shriek of his own.

1. Black Jesus

Edwards had plenty to be happy about after exploding for 40 points and nine rebounds. Thanks to his heroics in the final quarter, Edwards led the Timberwolves to a 109-107 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

When a reporter asked how he felt after the game, Edwards simply said that he felt like “Black Jesus.”  With his response, even then teammate D'Angelo Russell couldn't help but laugh about it.
