Conor McGregor is one of the most famous sports personalities in the world. He is a former Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight and lightweight champion and, for a stretch, was the best fighter in the sport. He is also a professional boxer, holding a record of 0 wins, 0 draws and 1 loss after his defeat to boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. in his debut match. On top of that, he was one of Forbes’ highest-paid athletes of 2021, which is a testament to his success in his field. In this article, however, we will be talking about his pillar of support for more than a decade, fiancée Dee Devlin.
Conor McGregor’s Fiancée: Dee Devlin
Conor McGregor and Dee Devlin have been a couple for 14 years, sticking together through ups and downs.
Before we get into details of their long-term relationship, let us know more about Conor McGregor’s fiancée, Dee Devlin.
Devlin was born on August 9th, 1987, in Walkinstown, Dublin, Ireland. She grew up with her sisters, Sarah and Cathy Devlin. Her sister, Sarah, is a model currently signed with Ireland’s leading model agency, Assets Model Agency.

Dee Devlin was not interested in academics growing up, which is why she dropped out of high school when she was 15 years old, taking various odd jobs throughout her late teens and early 20s. During that time, she had jobs as a model and waitress, also working in a nightclub.
Devlin met Conor McGregor when she was working at a nightclub in Ireland. She said that she was impressed by his sense of humor. Not long after that, the couple started dating and have been together since 2008.
It is well known that McGregor was still getting his fighting career started, not even signed by the UFC, when he and Devlin started dating. She worked various jobs to support her partner's long-term ambitions and pre-match training during their early years together, a foundation they've relied upon while experiencing both highs and lows of their relationship.
“My girlfriend has been there since the start. She has helped me throughout this career,” said McGregor in 2019. “If It wasn’t for her, I probably wouldn’t be where I am today. She’d drive me to the gym, and she’d listen to all my dreams. I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for her. I’m doing all this for her.”
As for Devlin, she always knew that “Notorious” was born to be successful.

“He’s always been super confident, we always knew this was going to happen – it was nearly like we were predicting the future,” said Devlin in 2021. “It’s weird for me to say but we just always knew he was going to get to this level and every few months it just keeps going and going and going and the sky is the limit.”

She has been fully supportive of McGregor from the start, helping him stay on track with his training schedule and his diet. And once McGregor found success in the mixed martial arts industry, Devlin quit her job and is now working under McGregor’s team, where she handles his finances on top of everything she’s been doing in regards to his training and diet.
“She does not work anymore, I hired her to the business. She works for me now and collects the cheques,” McGregor said.

As of this writing, Dee Devlin and Conor McGregor have three children. Their firstborn, Conor Jack McGregor Jr., was born in 2017. Two years later, their first daughter, Croia McGregor, was born. Most recently, they welcomed their third child and second son, Rian McGregor.

In August 2020, Conor McGregor and Dee Devlin got engaged as the MMA star proposed to his future wife on her birthday.

Their relationship continues to grow stronger and it is hard to imagine that the couple will ever split up.
