The long-awaited Honkai Impact x Genshin Impact crossover event is finally upon us! And of course, that means we finally know about Fischl's Release Date! Find out everything you need to prepare for as the crossover event comes live next week.
Honkai Impact x Genshin Impact Crossover Event, Fischl Release Date: July 9, 2021
Through a new campaign trailer, miHoYo announced the release date of the Honkai Impact x Genshin Impact crossover event: Outworld Traveler. The event, along with the arrival of Fischl, comes at the same time. Thus, the Outworld Traveler event has the same date as Fischl's Release Date: July 9, 2021.
The campaign trailer showed parallel sequences between it and the opening scenes of Genshin Impact. However, the person meeting Paimon and the main character at first isn't Amber but Fischl. Then, we saw some footage of how Fischl will fight in the name of the Prinzessin and as the first archer on Honkai Impact. You can claim her SP battlesuit just by logging in during the event. According to the press release, “Her gameplay is built around weakspot aiming, which allows players to amp up the damage and hit feedback by firing at enemy weakspots. She can quick-fire in conjunction with Oz and cast QTE on the field to assist teammates”
We also saw how Keqing will play out at the event, albeit only being available temporarily. We also got to see a mini-game that you will have to play to get the Klee outfit for Theresa.
Aside from these in-game events, miHoYo is also partnering with Kungfu Tea in the US and Canada. “Players can order collab milk tea for chances of winning awesome prizes including an iPhone 12, exclusive keychain, and exclusive stigma,” says miHoYo's press release. The promo will be on from July 12 to August 12, 2021.
