NFL training camps are just around the corner, but for New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and rookie running back Saquon Barkley, why wait when they can start preparing for the 2018 NFL season right now?

That’s exactly what an Instagram video shows with Beckham and Barkley putting in work this summer just ahead of the training camp this coming July 22.

Beckham has every reason to train hard whenever he can, as this coming season is the final year of the rookie deal he signed with the Giants right after the team drafted him back in 2014.

Whether the Giants will give him a huge contract extension – or a new one – will very much depend on who well he does on the field next season, especially after going under the knife to repair a left ankle injury that caused him to cut his 2017 campaign short after just five weeks.

Odell Beckham looked like fit enough to see action again, as he could be seen in the video running smoothly and catching passes with one hand the same way he normally does.

As for Saquon Barkley, being around Beckham and other Giants position players will help him get accustomed to life in pros and develop chemistry with his new teammates. Wide receivers Sterling Shepard and Roger Lewis were also in the video along with rising star tight end Evan Engram.

And oh, you could also catch a glimpse of 44-year-old Terrell Owens hanging out with the young Giants.
