Despite missing the entirety of last season due to an Achilles injury, Mario Chalmers was still successful in returning to the league as he was signed back in July by the Memphis Grizzlies. However, the developers of the hit video game, NBA 2K18, have not updated the players list yet, and the veteran point guard is not yet included in his team's lineup.

Chalmers made sure he lets Ronnie2K know how he feels about his exclusion, as he recently posted a tweet to him, asking him to add him as a free agent instead, and not only a member of the classic Miami Heat team.

The 6-foot-2 point guard is an eight-year veteran and won two titles with the Miami Heat. He established himself as one of the better playmakers in the league during the South Beach team's “Big 3” era featuring LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh. Chalmers was their undisputed starter at the one spot then and was tasked to distribute the shots to his superstar teammates. He spent more than seven seasons with them before he was traded to the Grizzlies back in 2015, where he suffered the unfortunate injury.

Now signed to a partially guaranteed one-year deal, Chalmers is looking to make the most of the opportunity, and prove that he still belongs to play at the highest level. If he can return to his old form, not only could he turn out to be a low-risk, high reward player for the Grizzlies, he will surely become a fixture in his team's lineup in NBA 2K18 as well, and force Ronnie2K and his team to make sure he won't be excluded any more.
