Even after the 2021 playoffs, Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young is embracing being Public Enemy No. 1 of the New York Knicks fanbase.

As if he didn't get enough jeers in his last trip to Madison Square Garden, Young returned to the iconic arena as a guest on WWE Smackdown. Of course, the home crowd didn't appreciate it and showered the Hawks star with boos as Sami Zayn introduced him and he made his way to the ring.

Sure enough, Trae Young couldn't care less, even encouraging the Knicks fans in attendance to continue booing.

You have to give credit to Young for his confidence to show up in MSG knowing his reputation in New York. It's truly the ultimate troll job.

For those not in the know, the Hawks star sucked the life out of the massive arena the last time he visited, putting an end to the Knicks' playoffs hopes. His appearance certainly made the crowd remember some painful memories they wanted to erase from their minds.

If there is one thing Knicks fans and the MSG crowd would be happy about, it's the fact that Young was thrown out of the ring and sent to the locker room after interrupting Sam Zayn's match with Rey Mysterio.

Well, that was fun!

Now, let's wait for Christmas when Young visits The Garden again–this time to face the Knicks!
