42-year-old Vince Carter of the Atlanta Hawks spun around his defender and casually lifted off for a slam dunk, effortlessly rising for his signature finish.

The Hawks lost this game to the Raptors 119-101 with Carter producing nine points, two rebounds, and one block to go along with a couple of 3-pointers.

It looks like Carter still has a few dunk packages hidden in his 42-year-old body. It's amazing that a guy his age, with tons of NBA mileage under his feet, can still play night in and night out. Most NBA players who enter the mid-3os are susceptible to injuries. But Carter has proven once again that he's not just any other player. The half-man half-amazing tag is real.

Since exiting his prime, many have been wondering: when will Carter finally hang it up? When will he finally hang up his old sneakers and enter a new chapter in his life?

And every season, Carter answers these questions by showing off every game. Of course, he's a totally different player than before. His playstyle now consists of draining wide-open threes and being the veteran voice in the locker room. But from time to time, he reminds us why he's tagged as the greatest dunker of all time.
