Chris Bosh says Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra is his favorite coach ever.

Spoelstra coached Bosh for six seasons in Miami before blood clots forced the All-Star power forward to retire from the NBA.

The Heat went to four-straight NBA Finals during The Big Three era with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, winning two titles during that period.

Bosh says one of the reasons he loves Spoelstra is because the now 48-year-old stays positive and cool under pressure no matter what is going on.

“We got to see the growth of Spo,” Bosh said, via Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press. “I know people were really ragging him and we gave him a tough time too about decision making. That's no secret.

“But one thing about him: He believes he can stay positive and cool under pressure. The fact that he was in one of the biggest moments in league history and was like, ‘All right, here's what we're going to do,' and put us in what we needed to do, he made great decisions.”

Tuesday will be an emotional night for Chris Bosh, Erik Spoelstra and the Heat.

Miami is retiring Bosh's No. 1 jersey. It's sad Bosh had to quit basketball prematurely, but Tuesday will be a night to reflect on all the great moments he had with the Heat.
