Miami Heat forward Derrick Jones Jr. is undoubtedly one of the best dunkers in the NBA today. With the NBA Slam Dunk Contest set to kick off Saturday, Jones Jr. guaranteed that he will come back to Miami with the trophy in hand.

In an interview with NBA on TNT, the 23-year-old forward is confident that he will be getting 50s across the board.

2020 will be the second time that the high-flying athlete will participate in the Slam Dunk Contest after competing as a rookie in 2017. That year, Jones Jr. would finish runner-up to then-Indiana Pacers wing Glenn Robinson III.

Since entering the league in 2016, Jones Jr. has excited fans with vicious and jaw-dropping in-game dunks. However, in season number four, the former UNLV star has really shown that he can be more than just a dunker.

As one of the Heat's top players off the bench, the 6-foot-6 forward is averaging 8.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 49.4 percent from the field and 28.6 percent from deep.

Along with Derrick Jones Jr., this year's dunk contest will feature Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon, Los Angeles Lakers center and 2008 winner Dwight Howard and Milwaukee Bucks guard Pat Connaughton.
